Contracted Security Services

Officers supplied to cover your site, properly briefed

We agree the duties, the hours and the reporting lines before deployment, then brief each officer on your premises and your expectations ahead of their first shift.

How we staff a site

Three ways to arrange cover

Most clients start with one model and adjust as they see how the site behaves.

Full-time cover

A consistent team covering agreed hours across the week. The same officers work the site on a set rotation, which means they know the premises and the people who use it.

Suited to sites where continuity matters and the duty pattern is stable.

Shift and out-of-hours cover

Cover concentrated on the periods when the site is most exposed — evenings, overnight, weekends or holiday closures — with a documented handover between our officer and your team.

Suited to premises that are staffed during the day but need a presence outside those hours.

Event and short-notice cover

Additional personnel for a defined period: a refit, a busy trading weekend, a public event or a temporary closure. Booked in advance where possible, with the duties and hours confirmed in writing.

Suited to one-off requirements rather than a standing arrangement.

Duties

What officers are briefed to do

Duties are agreed with you before deployment and recorded in the site briefing. They typically cover the following.

Access Control

Managing who comes onto the premises, and keeping a usable record of it.

  • Checking entry against your agreed rules
  • Visitor and contractor sign-in
  • Delivery and vehicle movements
  • Keys, passes and their return

Patrol & Presence

Visible, timed patrols and a presence that discourages opportunist behaviour.

  • Timed patrol routes agreed with you
  • Internal and perimeter checks
  • Opening and locking routines
  • Presence at peak periods

Reporting & Handover

Written records so the next shift, and your team, know what happened.

  • Shift records completed on duty
  • Incidents reported the same day
  • Documented handover at shift change
  • Periodic summaries to your contact

Site Briefing

Every officer works to a written briefing covering the premises, duties and escalation routes.

  • Premises layout and access points
  • Duties, timings and boundaries of the role
  • What to escalate, to whom and how quickly
  • Briefing reviewed when the site changes

Before deployment

Selection, briefing and induction

Officers are selected against the requirements you set out — the nature of the duties, the hours involved and the type of premises. Where we cannot match a requirement properly, we will say so rather than fill the shift anyway.

Before a first shift, every officer receives a written site briefing and, where practical, a walk through of the premises with the operations supervisor who will handle the account.

  • Selection against the duties you describe
  • Written site briefing before the first shift
  • Walk-through of the premises where practical
  • Escalation routes agreed and recorded

Cover rates

Indicative rates

Hourly rates for contracted personnel. The final rate reflects the duties, the hours, the location and the number of shifts, and is always confirmed in writing before deployment.
