How we handle personal information

This policy explains what information I-Secure Services (ISS) Ltd collects, why we hold it and what rights you have over it. It applies to enquiries, training records and contracted arrangements.

Privacy notice

Who we are

I-Secure Services (ISS) Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 15088162. We provide security training and contracted security personnel.

For the purposes of data protection law we are the data controller for information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services. Questions about this policy or about your information can be sent to info@i-secure.services.

What we collect

  • Enquiry information — the name, organisation, contact details and description of requirements you provide when you contact us or complete an enquiry form.
  • Training records — attendance, assessment outcomes and completion records for learners on courses we deliver.
  • Deployment records — shift records, handover notes and incident reports produced in the course of providing contracted personnel.
  • Website information — technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies as described in our cookies notice.

Why we hold it

We process personal information on the following bases: to take steps before entering a contract and to perform a contract (providing training, supplying personnel and administering the arrangement); for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, including responding to enquiries and maintaining service records; to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting and record-keeping requirements; and, where required, on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only where necessary: with officers or trainers who need it to deliver the service; with the client organisation that engaged us, where records form part of the arrangement; with professional advisers such as accountants and insurers; and with suppliers who host our website or provide IT services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiry information that does not lead to an engagement is kept for up to twelve months. Training and deployment records are kept for the period agreed in the contract, and in any event for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting and insurance requirements. Website analytics data is retained in accordance with the settings described in our cookies notice.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate, to ask for it to be erased where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive information you provided in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@i-secure.services.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's data protection regulator. We would ask you to raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right.

Security of information

Access to personal information is limited to those who need it for the purposes described above. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it, and review those measures periodically. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security of information sent to us electronically.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy periodically and will update it when our practices change. The version published on this page is the current one. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page.
